Ariel Morris is a Lawrence-based coloratura soprano. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance in 2011 from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied with Soprano Alice Hopper. Ariel performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Atlanta Symphony Chamber Chorus until moving to Kansas in 2017. In 2019, Ariel joined the award-winning Kansas City Chorale. Career highlights include performances at Basilica Sancti Petri in Vatican City, Basilica di San Marco in Venice, the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec, IU’s Opera Theatre, and Carnegie Hall. Ariel enjoys teaching and singing a wide variety of classical, operatic, art, oratorio, and musical theatre literature and is currently accepting students of all ages.
