Ariel Morris is a Lawrence-based coloratura soprano. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, studying under soprano Alice Hopper.  Ariel performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Atlanta Symphony Chamber Chorus until moving to Kansas in 2017. Since 2019, Ariel has been an ensemble member and frequent soloist with the GRAMMY-winning Kansas City Chorale.  She has enjoyed regional performances with Landlocked Opera, the Choral Arts Alliance of Missouri’s Prometheus ensemble, and church congregations.  Other career highlights include performances at Basilica Sancti Petri in Vatican City, Basilica di San Marco in Venice, the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec, IU’s Opera Theatre, and Carnegie Hall.  Ariel enjoys teaching and singing a wide variety of classical, operatic, art, oratorio, and musical theatre literature and is currently accepting students from middle school age to adult.
