StarSister Revival and Jim Jesse

Join us for an evening of live, local music performed by friends of AMA: StarSister Revival, with opening set by Jim Jesse.

StarSister Revival performs and composes music in honor of the sacred moment. Featuring original works, sacred, world, indie and folk music, harmonies, guitar, percussion and singing bowl accompaniment, Lana Maree Haas, Kimberly Storme, Gwen Schmidtberger and Holly O. Taylor have gathered to co-create.  With multifaceted healing modalities and soulful creative expression, they traverse the interconnected web of life through their medicine music.  With influences of Rising Appalachia, India Arie and The Wailin’ Jennys, the StarSisters create a myriad of soundscapes.  Like stars rekindling, StarSister Revival gently reminds us of our own access to the ancient wisdom of empowerment, connection and infinite possibilities through song.

Jim Jesse has been writing songs for years and has released four studio albums. He got a late start. He did not get a guitar until his late 20’s; did not learn to play it until his early 30’s, and did not record and release an album until his late 30’s. Life got in the way, but all the while he was writing songs. His music is song based with elements of folk, Americana, classic rock, power pop, and everything in between.
