Autumn Hayes is an alternative soft-rock musician based in Eudora, KS. As a solo artist and the bassist of the critically acclaimed local act Lonnie Fisher and the Funeral, she has performed at numerous locations in Northeast Kansas and in the KCMO area. Autumn plays multiple instruments, including guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin. Essentially, if it has strings and frets, Autumn could probably figure out how to play it! Autumn is the winner of the 5th annual Lawrence Songwriter Showcase and has a single out on all platforms, called “If You Stay.”
As a child, Autumn’s father was in the military. As a result, Autumn had the opportunity to live in multiple states and used her traveling experiences as an inspiration for her songwriting and genre experimentations. While living in Hawaii, she learned the ukulele and classical guitar, which skyrocketed her to musical success. Autumn is currently studying Speech-Lanuage Pathology at KU, which gives her further experience in teaching methods to help you in your musical journey!
Autumn would love to work with you or your child in ukulele, guitar, bass, beginner mandolin, or songwriting classes. She is a passionate advocate for Americana Music Academy’s mission statement to teach, promote, and support the advancement of all forms of music!
