Bobby grew up in Wichita, Kansas and was a band kid in Andover schools. Music continued to be a central focus of his life as he moved up and down the east coast pursuing a career in science. Now based in Lawrence, he’s a full-time folk singer and multi-instrumentalist channeling what he learned working as a biologist and professor into music that explores the ecology, history, and social fabric of the Great Plains.
