Holly O. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music, with an emphasis in both music therapy and percussion performance. She has maintained her board-certification in music therapy for
over 20 years, serving in schools, private homes, community centers, hospitals and behavioral health centers. Holly is also certified in sound healing and offers both group and individualized sessions for relaxation and therapeutic vibrational attunement.
Holly has taught music at various public and private schools from early intervention through grade 12, and has been a private piano & percussion teacher throughout her career. Currently, Holly holds the position of Music Director at Unity of Lawrence, and is a multi-instrumentalist and contributing singer-songwriter to several music groups, including Folk in the Flow, StarSister Revival and her solo project, Holly Taylor and The Soul Thread Legion. Each group has a unique style and approach, and the music holds an uplifting ambiance of hope, transformation and vitality.
This frequency goes beyond the arena of music, as the arts hold a special ability to teach, inspire and co-create unity across boundaries. Holly enjoys collaboration and has many written works to share, including a musical, creative
arts workshops, values based children’s stories, and a few inspirational fiction books that continue to expand!
As a music therapist, Holly strives to support one’s state of well being and vitality through the arts. With years of professional training, and the understanding of her own journey, she is able to address many layers of one’s learning and healing pathways. Through sessions, lessons, classes, spiritual services, workshops and
performance, Holly seeks to encourage others to discover their path of beckoning.
